The management office of Region Uppsala is part of Region Uppsala, one of the largest employers in Uppsala County. The management office is led by the regional director and consists of approximately one thousand employees. With a governing, supportive, and coordinating role, the management office is tasked with supporting the political leadership and administrations to ensure that the political direction is reflected in the region's various activities. In this way, Region Uppsala can fulfill its role, both regionally and nationally.

Our Operations

The regional archive is conveniently located near Uppsala travel center. Here, nearly 6 shelf kilometers of physical archives from the late 18th century to the 2020s from Region Uppsala's various operations are stored. We are also part of the R7e-archive and work extensively with digital archives. Currently, twelve people work with us, including 10 archivists and two archive administrators.

Your Mission

You will be part of a team responsible for depot issues and will work on organizing and cataloging the archives. You will also, together with other archivists, staff the expedition and assist with archive-related inquiries from researchers, the public, and the organization itself.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic education as an archivist, or an education that we consider equivalent. You have previous experience working with inquiries within archive operations and service to the public. Experience in organizing and cataloging archives is an advantage, as is experience in archive care.

Your Competence

You are service-oriented and have an easy time establishing good contact with others. Furthermore, you work in a structured manner and plan your work effectively. You are meticulous, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
